Sound Field from PBS

I recently became a fan of the video series Sound Field after finding them on Twitter. Working for PBS, the U.S -based Public Broadcasting System, the two young hosts LA Buckner and Nahre Sol and their production team create fast-paced, engaging, and informative videos on a wide range of musical topics from Disney songs to the use of parody in music from Mozart and Satie through Weird Al Yankovich.  The video below, which dropped earlier this year, caught my eye because of the mention of John Cage, which connects to the 21st Century Music Education MOOC that I mentioned on an earlier post.  I highly recommend you watch it, not only for the info on Cage, Stockhausen, and Harry Partch, but you may learn something new about David Bowie too!
